Solitary Journey of the Soul Empty
PostSubject: Solitary Journey of the Soul   Solitary Journey of the Soul EmptyWed 03 Jun 2009, 2:39 pm

When I first joined the forum last November, I remember something that Ms. Barbara I love you said to me that made so much sense & I've always held onto with adamant faith. She told me "that a problem that's talked about is a problem that's half solved." I thought to myself that made the most sense in anything that I'd heard for quite awhile. I also began to open up. I'd been on the Suboxone since May, but wasn't "recovering"- just not using, despite my weekly counseling. I found this forum & it became my outlet. Anyways, I'm getting to the point here. I read "Daily Reflections" every morning (it's AA, but the same things to reflect on) & today I wanted to pass on what the closing sentences are..
"They provide me with tools I need during the many parts of the solitary journey of my soul. When I speak of this journey, I share my experience, strength and hope with others."
Ok, I tried this color change thing & can't figure out how to get it back to white?? Notice my wisdom? Idea haha
But my point was, when I read that today, it reminded me of those wise words that a friend had pointed out to me so many months ago. Thanks Barbara! And its truth. The more that I get out, the lighter I can step. Like a Star @ heaven Make sense?? I love you
I hope to encourage many of our members who are not posting, it really does help! Let it out. Let people love you without judgment so that you can heal... as well as helping others to heal.
My love and strength go out to all of you!
Beth I love you
(Thank you again Ms Barbara!)
