Chat night

Hello all,

Since we've been having chat night, I think for the most part members are enjoying it.
However - there has been a low turn out recently. I totally understand life getting in the way.
Although I think we should make time for this type of group support, even if it's online.

That being said, we are having a special chat TONIGHT 3/2/13 @ 7:30pm EST - if anyone is interested
please stop by and visit.

After tonight, I'm not sure if we will continue due to the low attendance.

I will be at chat tomorrow (Tuesday) night if it's still on. I apologize for not being able to make it consistantly. I hope we can keep it going, I enjoy it so much. We all seem to have a good time. I do understand that there is not many who attend, but maybe that will change. We've gotten some new members, maybe we can encourage them to join as well.

And for any member reading this post.....chat is a very positive, uplifting experience. We all talk about how we are doing. We discuss our dosages, how we are feeling, we ask questions, we relax & learn about one another. We've had A LOT of good laughs. There are some awesome people on this site that can enrich your life if given the chance. I know this from my personal experience with chat. I've tried to dedicate myself to Tuesdays, & yes, life has kept me from attending every Tuesday. But I do try to make it more often than not. If you join, you will be welcomed with open arms. If you don't know what to say, they'll start the conversation. I grab a cup of tea & it feels like I'm "hangin out" with good friends. To put it simply, we've had such good times. I'd hate to see it go.

We had a great time talking. Rae, I'm sorry about this issues your having with your work. I pray it works out for you.
Angel, it was great that you stopped by and met the ladies. I hope you stick around
we really offer alot of support and friendship here, and it's very important to have during your recovery.
Jaz, I pray you have the strength not to let your "friend" treat you the way she is. It's not
fair to you OR your family. Stay strong girl, you can do this !!

And Dee, I'm glad your internet was working ! Looks like mine was giving me problems but I was glad to have you in chat none the less. I see we have another storm coming in !
Looks like winter isn't over yet !

I agree Blue! I am so glad we had so many good people to chat with! As for my situation, yes we are stuggling like most small businesses during these hard economic times, but I am keeping my head up high. I am so grateful my head is more clear & I am able to think up new ideas & act on them. If I was still on pain pills, I probably would have driven the store into the ground by now by giving up & not being able to handle the stress. With the help of my sub Dr, my therapist & my friends (including friends here) I have been able to keep my head on straight & really focus on what I need. I hope every Tuesday chat will be like it was last night & possibly with more members joining. I hope to hear more from Angel. And I hope Jaz has the strength to turn her back on someone who is not worthy of her energy. I was thrilled to speak with Dee (& Zoey). I'm happy you are comfortable at 5mg!! THAT is awesome! I'm sorry I still can't do Thursdays, but I hope chat is strong enough to keep going. I look forward to it and I'm thankful to have all of you as part of my recovery.

ladies it was good to be able to get into chat for once and today the internet is behaving itself. Hopefully this is a sign of future connection problem free.

Blue, enjoy YOUR snow. lol, it has been trying to snow off and on here for a few days but can't seem to make it. I was hoping for one more good snowfall before Spring but this week we have 40's outside so I am looking forward to Spring and getting out to start on this yard. I will get those pictures to you soon so you can give me your ideas

It's always good to meet new friends and chat with old. This is a very powerful group I agree. Here's to many more great chats and new members.
