Hey Jaz, that's great about your sister contacting you !!!
It's wonderful to repair relationships now that we are in recovery.
I've done the same with my 2 sisters.
I still have a 3rd sister that I cannot have in my life. Her lifestyle is not good
for me to be around.

I'm sorry about you not being able to contact your sister.
But it's good that you are talking to the other two.

My sister is over visiting right now! She is watching the Toy Story movies with me as Cooper.

We were very close before I started using. And she was very disappointed in me. And her father did not allow her to see me, she is only 14 right now. So you can understand why her father, my step dad, didn't allow her to see me wen he found out I was using. But now they are back in my life! I missed her so much!

Yeah I know! I realized that after I posted.
She is a sweetheart and get helpful! She's been helping me out with hints around the house since my back hurts. She is very loving and caring! I didn't even ask her for help. She just offered. I will enjoy watching her grow up, and Cooper growing up! It's so cute he loves his aunt Amber! They have been playing together. They're so cute together! I love them both so much!

I am grateful that I save my money now, instead of spending it all on pills.

I am grateful that I was able buy my loved ones Valentine's Day presents.
They were surprised when I came home with gifts. It was a nice feeling.

Good Morning,

I am very grateful to wake up and know I am not going to use today. I am not seeking pills and running out worrying about that.

I am very grateful for peaceful Sunday mornings.

I am very grateful that this past Valentines Day, I had the money to go to the store and pick up some gifts for my family. They were so surprised when I came home with them.
My husband asked "where did you get the money" I don't think he understands how proud I AM at the fact that I don't spend ALL the money I get on pills. That I actually have cash on me on any particular day. I tried to explain it to him.
I know YOU all get what I'm saying.

In fact, when something comes up at the office where I am asked to chip in for something. Flowers or a birthday cake for someone, I HAVE the money on me ! It's a huge thing for me. I NEVER EVER had money on me that wasn't going towards buying pills. I would go without food to have my pills.
I am grateful that part of my life is over

I am grateful that I got down to 6mg without any problems at all. I know the rest of this treatment will go smoothly, but I am not rushing it.

I have so much to be grateful for!
I am grateful to be out of active addiction and not having to think about pills, worry about pills or even craving pills!
I am grateful to be able to live my life the way I want to!
I am grateful for my fiance and his family, and their encouragement and support throughout my recovery.
I am grateful for my children. The ones who brighten each and everyu day for me!
I am grateful for Blue, Rae and Dee on this forum. Without their support, encourgement and love I wouldn't have made it this far!
I am grateful for my doctor Terry and my therapist Debbie, without them I'd be without suboxone and would still be in active addiction.
I am grateful for all of you, without you all I most likely would have relapsed!
I am grateful for the heat in my house, the food in my fridge and the clothes on mine and my family's backs.
I am grateful for the car in my driveway that gets me where I need to go, my doctor and therapist appointments.
I am grateful for this forum, everything the moderators do, and everythng this forum does and represents.
I am grateful for my dad being on suboxone and in his 3rd month of his recovery.
I am grateful for my health and the health of my loved ones.
I am grateful for each and every day.
I am grateful for my life and everything wonderful that I have and all the wonderful people I have in it.

and we look out for each other. We have become a tight team. We are in this together and I feel the bond.
