Hello everyone,
Happy Easter! Enjoy your day, enjoy being the new you.
I am so happy that I can actually make plans to spend the day with friends and family and not have to worry about where I am going to find something to get me through the day, I can have fun and know it is the real thing and not something that came out of a small amber bottle.
The only thing that I don't like about the holidays are the people that still look at me with ansideways glance that tells me they still think that I am still using. Some people will never change their minds. I don't care how long I've been in recovery they will always have their thoughts. I guess I have to just keep reminding myself that what they think is what they "think" and that their thinking it doesn't make it true. What are your plans for the day?
Yours In Recovery,
Dee

Hi Dee and everyone,

I expect most of my family will show up here during the day. I'm still not up to much of moving around. I HAD to take two of the dogs to the vet for their shots and check up. Baby, my Yorkie has two loose teeth and a lump on her tummy (not good.) Sadie, my Golden Retriever and Britteny Spaniel was good.

Happy Easter to us all. This is one of my favorite holidays. I do plan to go to church, but if I feel like I did this morning, I maybe watching Easter services on television. I know there will be a crowd and the traffic will be heavy.

I wish the best to all of you and glad you are here.

Yours in the struggle,
Barbara

Barbara my friend,
Do you have sunshine there today? We have clouds and cold. I was going to say that if you have the sun shining, please try and get out even just to sit and soak up of few of the healing rays. It may pick up your spirits some.
Sometimes when I'm not feel well, bit physically and mentally if I get out and feel the warmth on my skin I feel better and more energized. I also wanted to ask you if your still taking your Suboxone dose at 4mg?
My prayers are with you,
Dee
