Changes to chat nights

Good morning everyone,
There are some changes to our chat night as follows:

Chat will no longer be held on Thursday nights but will continue to be held on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm est The reason being is that no one seems to be able to attend on Thursday.

When Blue first started chat she did it at the request of some of our members and she is/was happy to do anything that will help anyone needing support. But lately it seems that she is the only one who is showing up on Thursday night.
Not long ago chat was cancelled but reinstated because of a special request. That member is no longer attending so we will be returning to Tuesday night's ONLY.

It just doesn't make any sense for Blue to sit on the chat box for an hour or more waiting for someone to show up. This is taking time away from her family.

If anyone has something going on and needs to chat on any given night we will make exceptions for that person and hold an "emergency" chat for them as always.

Hello everyone !

I just want to encourage our members to please attend Tuesday nights chat.
It's a great way to get support or to talk about issues or questions you have
about your medication.

You'd be surprised how cool it is to just talk to people that are going through the same thing that you are.

I would love to see some new faces, April... or Randi .... Not to mention there are quite a few
new members.

Come and chat ! It's a great way to get support and we have fun.... really !!

I know my regulars should be there, and I really appreciate you ladies. Your such a big part of my recovery and my life in general. I'm extremely grateful for you.

I wanted to put in an extra word here. Chat is a great place to get support as well as just connect with people who know what you are going through. Every part of your life, (your job, relationships, finances, family & more) have been effected by your addiction. Yes, we talk about Suboxone, but we also just say what is on our minds. Whether we are struggling to regain the trust of a friend or family member, or having a hard time coping with stressful situations, chat is a great way to release and open up to others who will not judge you in any way. I've made some great friends that I am eternally grateful. And it would be nice if we can all do what we are here to do. Give support AND receive support. We need you as much as you need us. Especially me, I don't have many people in my life that I can confide in, so, the wonderful people on this site have becaome a huge part of my support system.

I get it, life is busy. I have to be honest, I don't make it to chat every week, but I make it a point to be there at "least" twice a month. I've always had an issue with being busy or too tired. But I made a choice to do this for myself and I wanted to receive maximum benefit from this forum.

So come by Tuesday nights and check it out. You will be happy you did
