Hello,

When I first started Suboxone, I was on this Forum. I haven't been around for a while.
Just wanted to come back on to announce my ONE HUNDRED DAYS ADDICTION FREE !!!!!

I'm really proud of myself ! Things have been great since starting Suboxone, each day is better and better.
I hit some rough spots here and there and I've had difficulty dealing with some stressful situations, but I am hanging
in there, not giving up !!

100 days !!! I still cant believe it !

Dee,
You remembered about the vacation !!
I did go away with the family in February. And it was THE best time I ever had. I didn't have to worry about not having enough pills, I didnt have to continuously count pills, I just took my Suboxone, and left , and we even stayed 2 extra days ! That would have never happened before !!
I'm still working out at the gym almost every day and I'm really seeing a difference in my body not to mention how great I feel !
My family sees a big improvement in me. My husband says my eyes are clearer and that I don't have that dazed high look anymore.
Work is great, I complete my work each day and I am there on time every day !!! I don't have to worry about leaving work to meet my "guy" in the middle of the day because he's ready for me. I HATED everything about that !!

Sparkles,
Thanks for responding !! I sent you a private message

Dee,
As far as where we went. We own a timeshare, and we went to one of the resorts in Rhode Island, we go every year.

We really just relax and do some sight seeing and some shopping.
I had the best time !!! Living without dealing with an active addiction is a blessing I can't believe I have !
Every day is a new and wonderful day, that I cant wait to experience.

After active addiction there is nothing better than experiencing the freedom of just "being" to be able to do whatever, whenever.
It's hard for other people to understand. But the feeling is so freeing.
I'm glad you got to go and that you had a good time. Rest assured there is more to come.
Enjoy your weekend!

Dee,

You are so right, there is nothing better than experiencing freedom of just "being"... I totally get that. And it sure is hard for others to understand.

Thank you for your kind words.
I do look forward to my next vacation/adventure !!!
