So glad to see another member has joined. I'm Barbara and here to answer any of your questions. It's hard to know what to say at first and if you are more comfortable reading along with us, you are welcome. If there is anything we can help you with, just ask.

Thanks for welcoming me here, it is very much appreciated to be surrounded with such positive energy that both of you shine in your own unique way. My real name is Kassidy...but my friends call me Dink- it's a long, embarassing story. I checked myself into detox on April 16th after 6 years of opiate abuse. It wasn't until weeks after that until my therapist introduced me to Suboxone because I wasn't getting any better without. I've walked down many roads that I am not proud of nor ashamed because I am the person I am today because of it. I'm only 19, but I have been through more than anyone could imagine in my short-lived life. I am thankful to have hit my rock bottom at such a young age because I have an entire life ahead of me. Sobriety is one the hardest goals i've ever had to accomplish and I struggle everyday still-but I have learned to live sober thanks to suboxone and my inner strength.
