Thank you very much for the nice introduction. Yes I am new to this site and what a lovely website it is. It is very similar to a site that a friend of mine has developed and this is just as beautiful. I just started taking suboxone in October. I have a long story but just as horrific as any drug addicts I'm sure. I was in a POW camp in Iran for 6 weeks after going to Iran in 1998 to escape false prescription charges as a Nurse. I went there with my Iranian husband who wouldn't let me come home once I got there. I was there for almost four years. The day after 9-11 I was put into the POW camp in Iran and was there for approx. 6 weeks, after escaping with a girl from Baharain, and being handed over to the American embassy in Dubai which in turn flew me home to America, I weighed in at 70 pounds and had severe head injuries and internal injuries from the sexual assaults. The printed version will be out sometime by May or June and will gladly share a discount with the readers here. But that is not why I joined here. I joined here for support and questions I had regarding Suboxone. That is why I wanted to write you first. Where do I post for questions regarding long term maintenance of pain control using suboxone? And do you get notified by email everytime a post of yours gets answered? Once again THANK YOU for your kind welcome and I look forward to sharing and reading your articles. If it is ok to share blogs I have one on my site which is located at the bottom of the page and I welcome anyone to use it to comment on this drug and their experience. I think the more we can get this information out to the public the better it is for EVERYONE. Addiction is terrible and I feel so fortunate to live in this day and age where they have a drug such as this to help with cravings, and the PAIN. Barb I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I was not in the military but I can empathize with the perils of war. When I was in that POW type camp, I saw a lot of people executed right in front of me and thought from day to day that I was going to be the next. I never appreciated my freedom more than I did on November 14th, 2001 when I arrived in Detroit and kissed the ground at the airport terminal. They had an ambulance waiting, but I refused, I had made it that far on my own I wasn't going to take it then. And like I said I'm really fortunate to have people such as yourselves and sites like this for support. Take care and stay strong. Lori
