Hello Lilly312,
My name is Dee, I am one of the moderators of the forum and our other moderator is Barbara Rue.
If there is anything that we can do for you please let us know, if you have any questions about how to post in the forum or where to post please send one of us a pm and we will be happy to help you out.
We have many members some of which are on Suboxone and some are on Methadone.
I have been on suboxone for going on three years now. Before that I was on Methadone for 4 years. I can't tell you what a difference it has made to be able to wake up in the mornings and not have to worry about weather or not I am going to be able to make it through the day on what little bit of stash I have.
Those days are long gone into the past.
I look forward to my days and spending time with the family.
When you feel comfortable I'd like to hear about you and what brought you here to us. Read the posts of the other members, if you see something you would like to comment on please do. This is your home now. Relax and enjoy.
Barbara will be along at some point today I'm sure to welcome you as well.
Enjoy your day.
Yours,
Dee

Hi Lilly312,

I'm Barbara, sorry I'm late. I had my own demons and dragons I was fighting with most of the day. Thanks to finding peace inside, I caught another gear and it's all calm and okay inside. Ever have those days? A lot of them it takes me more than one day to conquer, but those days are coming further and further apart. Boy, just when you think you got it all worked out, wham, life throws a curve ball at you and you stike out. This is when I look at that curve and try to see what I was suppose to learn. Flexibility and learning to yield to what comes my way.

This is suppose to be about welcoming you and I do. I just wanted to share with someone as soon as I could how I got through a rough spot even though I've been off opiates for two and a half years. Glad you have joined us. I hope you stay and don't go back.

Yours in the struggle,
Barbara
